Alberto Huillca Rios
Alberto was born and raised in the town of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley in Peru. He is of indigenous ancestry (Quechua) and speaks English, Spanish and Quechua fluently. He in married with 2 kids and his oldest child (son) is studying in the University in Cusco, Peru. He has 4 sisters and 3 brothers and his parents and family all live in Ollantaytambo. He helps oversee the daily needs of the soup kitchen in Ollantaytambo and also interacts on an ongoing basis with several impoverished communities in the Sacred Valley coordinating food and clothing drives for the foundation. In his time spent away from the foundation, Alberto serves as an accomplished guide helping tourists on trekking trips through the Sacred Valley including Machu Picchu and the Inka Trails.

Our soup kitchen is located very close to the main square of Ollantaytambo that allows easy access by the children as they head home from school in the afternoon. We are currently providing a wholesome meal that is freshly prepared by a chef at our soup kitchen to between 35 to 40 children daily.
